24 East: The Coolest Blog in Town

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016

We recently had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Celine of the new {and incredibly cool} blog 24 East!  The carefully curated site celebrates all the amazing places, people and events in the East Bay, and we’re obsessed with her great content, gorgeous photos and weekly columns like “Friday Five on It”, which corrals her favorite things each week into a stylish dose of inspiration (and new things to obsess over!).

Celine and Ingrid sat down for a one-on-one interview covering everything from design inspiration to her favorite places in the East Bay.  Check out the interview on East 24 now - and be sure to follow along with Celine!

to scale

Thursday, February 21st, 2013

Some of the most common questions we get from all of you about our jewelry have to do with scale. From how big our Medium Signature Wrap Hoops are to how teeny tiny the CZ Carded Posts are in real life, you guys want to know how big is big or how small is small – and we hear you. So while we are busy brainstorming some ideas on how to make our website even that much better and chockfull of information about size, materials and generally how fabulous each and every Viv&Ingrid piece is, we thought we could start small here on our humble little blog.

So, without further adieu, we present our Spring 2013 collection in the flesh {so to speak}. A big thanks to our Oxford Hall shop girl Monica for letting us pretend to be real bloggers for a day and shoot her in some of our new favorites. Enjoy!

Spring 2013 - Scalloped Hoops 2

Spring 2013 - Scalloped Teardrop Hoops

If you love our Double and Layered Hoops, here is our new take on our beloved teardrop shape – the Scalloped Hoop. We hand wrap these earrings with every stone we use on our classic Wrap and Spiral Hoops, so all you Swarovski and 2 mm stone fans out there, fear not – you can collect these in all of your favorite colors. For us there is nothing more classic than gold on gold; throw these on with anything and everything to add a bit of understated glam. {Pictured in large – $175; also available in small}

Spring 2013 - White Deco Hoops

Spring 2013 - White Deco Hoops 2

The equivalent of our finale gown – the Three-Tier Deco Hoop. These drop earrings are a serious statement, but have more subtle “cousins” for anyone seeking a little less look in the Two-Tier and One-Tier versions. We’re loving the white jade for this chilly, early spring weather {hello winter whites!} and the turquoise for when it heats up more. {As pictured, $206}

Spring 2013 - Peach Coral Chandeliers

The peacock all dressed up for spring in peach coral {and some other fabulous new hues}. This bohemian chic chandelier has been a favorite of our customers ever since it graced the pages of Allure. {Peacock Chandeliers in Gold and Peach Coral, $216}

Spring 2013 - Notched Diamond Posts

We love a good post earring – they are truly the “set it and forget it” of accessories {minus the fire hazard}. These new Diamond Posts from the spring collection are a lovely pop of saturated color in a bright with a lovely, coin edged setting. Sweet, feminine and most importantly, easy – we haven’t taken ours off since we got these in. {Diamond Post in Gold and Aqua Jade, $70}
